[TCMRM] Special Guest This Saturday + Halloween Night Trains!

Guest Speaker - Nick Benson - Saturday the 24th at 10 am

The Museum's next speaker series event is this Saturday morning, September 24th! The event features railroad (and aviation) photographer Nick Benson!

Nick Benson of Burnsville, Minnesota has spent more time than he'd like to admit chasing and photographing trains around the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota.

He'll be presenting some of his favorite photos and stories from his time spent trackside, documenting Griswold signals, passenger trains, bridges, and snow fighting operations.

The event will run 60 minutes with time for Q&A. Event is included with $10 Museum admission. Children 4 and under are free. Be sure to stick around to enjoy the museum displays, the museum is open 10-3 on the 24th.

Spooky Trains Kicks Off Night Trains Season!

Night Trains® season is a special Holidays tradition at the Twin City Model Railroad Museum. Spooky Trains will return on October 15th, 22nd and 29th!

See spooky trains and Halloween decorations on the layouts! Costumes are welcome! Treats will be handed out.

What is Night Trains?

The museum’s collection of model trains of all scales and toy trains of yesteryear come alive throughout the Museum. The Night Trains season magic begins as the lights are turned down and the buildings and street lights glow warmly, setting the scene for specially lighted models of operating vintage passenger trains.

Hours and Admission
Every Saturday (Except Christmas Eve) from October 15, 2022 to February 25, 2023.

The event runs from 3:00pm to 7pm, tickets will be sold for 2 hour time blocks.

$15 per guest, kids under the age of 4 are free. Tickets may be purchased in advance at: tcmrm.eventbrite.com

Please note: Tickets will ONLY be sold at the door if we have not reached our capacity.

Santa is Coming to Town!

Santa Visits Night Trains December 10th and 17th. This is your chance to tell Santa what you want for Christmas and get pictures with him also. Bring your camera to capture this special moment! Visiting with Santa is included with admission!

Friday: 10am – 3pm

Saturday: 10am – 5pm (10am - 2pm and 3pm to 7pm for Night Trains starting Oct. 15th)

Sunday: 12pm – 5pm

Daytime Museum Admission: $10.00

Night Trains Admission: $15.00

Children 4 & under FREE!
