Museum Garage Sale

This Weekend!

The museum is hosting a garage sale this weekend and we will have lots of great items to pick from! Add to your collection while helping the museum raise funds for continued improvements and operations.

The sale takes place Saturday, July 23rd from 10-5 and Sunday, July 24th from 12-4. The sale is held in the conference room at the main entrance of our museum building.

No admission required to shop the sale but we encourage you to visit the museum and see what we have been up to! Note the the sale excludes items for sale in our gift shop.

Night Trains - Summer Special - Take 2!

Night Trains® season is a well-loved special Holiday tradition at the Twin City Model Railroad Museum and now it's back for summer!

Don't miss our next special edition of Night Trains on August 13th from 3-7 pm!

What is Night Trains?

The museum’s collection of model trains of all scales and toy trains of yesteryear come alive throughout the Museum. The magic begins as the lights are turned down and the buildings and street lights glow warmly, setting the scene for specially lighted models of operating vintage trains.

Hours and Admission:

The museum will close early at 2pm and will reopen from 3-7 pm for our Night Trains Event.
$10 per guest, kids 4 and under are free.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at: tcmrm.eventbrite.com or at the door.

The State Fair is Returning!

The picture above comes from one of our GMLTC LEGO club volunteers. The LEGO layout is expanding and will feature a newly expanded state fair scene! Come see all your landmarks in miniature before the real thing starts.

AND!

The Great River Valley System (GRVS) traveling layout will be set up in the museum's conference room the weekend of July 30th and 31st! This will be included with regular admission. Their layout is always bustling with trains and we are happy to host them!

Saturday: 10am – 5pm

Sunday: 12pm – 5pm

Daytime Museum Admission: $10.00

Children 4 & under FREE!
