Night Trains Summer Special This Saturday!

Our next special edition of Night Trains is this Saturday, August 13th from 3-7 pm, get your tickets now!

What is Night Trains?

The museum’s collection of model trains of all scales and toy trains of yesteryear come alive throughout the Museum. The magic begins as the lights are turned down and the buildings and street lights glow warmly, setting the scene for specially lighted models of operating vintage trains.

Hours and Admission:

The museum will close early at 2pm and will reopen from 3-7 pm for our Night Trains event.
$10 per guest, kids 4 and under are free.

Our Next Presenter is...

On Sunday, August 28th at 4pm notable railroad photographer and writer Steve Glischinski joins us for a double feature event! Join us while Steve gives a presentation covering "Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range - The Last 30 Years" -and- "45 Years of Iowa Railroading". Both are digital shows with music. The photos above and below are some of Steve's work dating as far back as the 1970's, when Steve began taken railroad photography as a kid.

The DMIR show runs 20 minutes, the Iowa show 35 minutes.

$10 Museum admission includes this event. You can buy at the door or in advance at tcmrm.eventbrite.com .

Children 4 and under are free. Be sure to come early to enjoy the museum displays before this event as the museum closes at 5.
