Circus Train Month Ends Soon! 

Circus Trains are still on display during all open hours in April! See our popular O-Scale train (over 60’ long) which consists of animal cars, passenger cars, and special circus flat cars, each loaded with hand-made special circus wagons plus a parade thru “Hamline” and wagons unloading on the “big” layout.

Additional layouts each feature Circus trains and / or displays in their own scale.
This event is inspired by Circus World Museum in Baraboo Wisconsin. Learn more here! 

May Guest Speaker Event

On Saturday, May 6th from 10-12 join us for special guest Bill Kuebler. Bill will be doing a presentation based on his book “The Vista-Dome North Coast Limited: The Story of the Northern Pacific Railway’s Famous Domeliner”. Event is included with admission to the museum!

Note: the museum will open a bit early to ensure everyone has time to purchase admission before the event starts. 

Spring Hobby Show and Sale

It's Back! Our popular model railroad and hobby show and sale returns Saturday, May 13th from 9am-2pm at the MN Fairgrounds Education Building. Enjoy storytime with Engineer Paul, operating toy train layouts in several scales and so much more! Learn more here!
