Upcoming Museum Events! 

Hello train fans! We have some super-fun events coming up we wanted to share with you! Read on for more information about our guest speaker next Saturday, May 6th plus our Spring Hobby Show and Sale at the State Fairgrounds on May 13th! 

May Guest Speaker Event

On Saturday, May 6th from 10-12 join us for special guest Bill Kuebler. Bill will be doing a presentation based on his book “The Vista-Dome North Coast Limited: The Story of the Northern Pacific Railway’s Famous Domeliner”. Event is included with admission to the museum!

Note: the museum will open a bit early to ensure everyone has time to purchase admission before the event starts. Children 4 and under are always free! 

Spring Hobby Show and Sale

Our popular model railroad and hobby show and sale returns Saturday, May 13th from 9am-2pm at the MN Fairgrounds Education Building. Bring the kids! Enjoy storytime with Engineer Paul, operating toy train layouts in several scales and so much more!

Over 200 tables of new and used scale models; Toy Trains HO, O, 027, N, S, & Z scale plus Antiques, Collectibles, Tools, Books, Videos, Toys, Collectibles, Buildings, Magazines, Prints, Posters, Photos and more!
