FINAL Night Trains - Summer Edition

Our FINAL Night Trains® - Summer Nights event is this Saturday, August 19th!

It will include a visit by the MN Free-mo modular layout club! They will be setting up a huge layout in our front conference room and will be included with admission! (The Free-mo layout will also be available during daytime hours on Saturday from 10-2 and Sunday from 12-3.)

What is Night Trains?

The museum’s collection of model trains of all scales and toy trains of yesteryear come alive throughout the Museum. The magic begins as the lights are turned down and the buildings and street lights glow warmly, setting the scene for specially lighted models of operating vintage passenger trains.

Hours and Admission:
$10 per guest, kids under the age of 4 are free. No group rate available.

Date:

Saturday, August 19th from 3-7pm.

Tickets will be available at the door. No need to buy in advance.

Night Trains is a registered trademark of the Twin City Model Railroad Museum.

Fall Hobby Show & Sale Returns September 16th!

Saturday, September 16th is our next semi-annual Model Railroad Hobby Show and Sale at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.

Attractions: Operating train layouts in several scales! Over 200 tables of new and used model trains in every scale, plus antiques, collectibles, tools, books, videos, toys, buildings, magazines, artwork and more!

FOOD TRUCK! - Enjoy breakfast and lunch options from the Blue Ox Provisions food truck!

Story Time: Engineer Paul will be doing story-time with kids at 10 am and 12:30.

Sale admission: $7.00 for ages 8 and up. Ages 7 and under are FREE!

Hours: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
