Final Night Trains - Summer Edition

this Saturday!

Our final Night Trains® - Summer Edition event is Saturday, August 16th!

What is Night Trains?

The museum’s collection of model trains of all scales and toy trains of yesteryear come alive throughout the Museum! The magic begins as the lights are turned down and the buildings and street lights glow warmly, setting the scene for specially lighted models of operating vintage passenger trains.

Hours and Admission:
$10 per guest, kids 4 and under are free. No group rate available. While you are here for NIght Trains be sure to check out our garage sale! Read below for more info.

Tickets are available at the door or in advance at EventBrite!

Model Railroad Garage Sale

Visit the museum on Saturday, August 16th from 10-7 and Sunday, August 17th from 12-3 for our model railroad garage sale! There is no charge to shop but while you are here we hope you decide to visit the museum!

Note the longer hours that concide with our Summer NIght Trains event.

Stay tuned to our Facebook event page as we post some of the merchandise available leading up to the event. Proceeds from the sale go back to the operations of the museum and the continued improvements to our exhibits.

The LEGO State Fair Display is Back!!!

The Minnesota State Fair is back, in miniature of course. Stop in and check out your favorite fair attractions built with LEGO® pieces. This is a museum fan favorite!

If you love going to the real fair you will want to see our LEGO version all custom created by the Greater Midwest LEGO Train Club.

The LEGO state fair is only here for a limitied time so don't wait!

Regular Hours:

Saturday 10-5 (August 16th - 10-2 and 3-7 for Night Trains)

Sunday 12-5

Monday 10-3

Friday 10-3
