Spring Hobby Sale - Saturday, May 10th!

Next Saturday, May 10th, is our semi-annual Model Railroad Show and Hobby Sale at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds - Education Building!

Attractions: Operating train layouts in several scales! Over 200 tables of new and used model trains in every scale, plus antiques, collectibles, tools, books, videos, toys, buildings, magazines, artwork and more! Our vendor tables are competely sold out!

Food Truck! - Enjoy items from the Orange Treat food truck!

Story Time: Engineer Paul will be doing story-time with kids at 10 am and 12:30.

Sale Admission: $7.00 for ages 8 and up. Ages 7 and under are FREE!

(Note: we've been sending hobby show postcards for years and years. But due to rising costs we will no longer send the postcards. Continue to subscribe to our emails to get discount sale passes starting with the next sale!)

Ample free parking all around the grounds.

Moms Admitted Free on Sunday!

On Sunday, May 11th all moms get in free. As always, kids 4 and under also get in free every day!

Valid only for tickets purchased at the door for that day. No advanced ticket purchase necessary. Mom must be present to redeem free admission!

Thomas the Tank Engine's Birthday!

Join us May 31st and June 1st for Thomas Birthday Weekend! See Thomas and friends on our layouts, special displays, storytimes and more!

Did you know Thomas turns 80 this year? Reverend Wilbert Awdry published his first book "The Three Railway Series" in 1945!

We will be celebrating Thomas and his friends all weekend during regular hours (Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 12-5). We hope you come also celebrate everyone's favorite blue engine!
