Celebrate National Train Day with the Twin City Model Railroad Museum!

Celebrate National Train Day, Saturday, May 7th with the Twin City Model Railroad Museum.

In commemoration of the day, TCMRM will feature Amtrak Trains and passenger Trains from an earlier era on its giant O scale layout located in Bandana Square and on its many other layouts in the Chimney's Building.

Also to celebrate National Train Day, TCMRM's traveling Thomas the Tank Engine layout will make a special appearance at the Amtrak Depot in Midway from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Spring Model Railroad Show & Sale

And don't forget to attend TCMRM's Spring Model Railroad Show and Sale on Saturday, May 14th from 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Education Building in the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.

Admission to the Fairgrounds Show and Sale is $6 person for ages 5 and above and includes $2 discount to for admission to the Museum on that day.

New Weekday Hours

We've changed the weekday opening time for the museum. We now open at 10 am on weekdays.

The Toy Train Museum's schedule remain unchanged.

Admission & Location

Museum admission is $6.00. Admission for children under 5 is FREE. This includes admission to the new Toy Train Division next door in the Chimneys Building on Saturdays and Sundays.
