State Fair Promotion and Fall Show & Sale

The State Fair is in full swing and schools are about to begin so this means the fall season is just around the bend so here’s what’s happening this fall at TCMRM.

State Fair Promotion

While you’re at the Fair, visit the museum and show your State Fair ticket and receive a $2 discount off the daily admission price.

The museum’s Bandana Square location is open every day during the fair, except Mondays, the Chimney’s Building location is open only on Saturday and Sundays.

On weekends, a State Fair Shuttle Bus departs from the Bandana Square Parking lot.

Fare Increase Coming September 1st

TCMRM is raising the museum’s daily admission price on weekends to $8 per person for persons age 5 and older; week day fares will remain at $6 per person.

Fares for Night Trains will increase to $10 per person, with discounts for families.

Arriving on September 14th, the Fall Fairgrounds Show and Sale

Fall Fairgrounds Show and Sale Join us for our annual Fall Fairgrounds Model Railroad Show and Sale in the Education Building on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.

There will be layouts to see and trains to buy. Admissions are $8 per person, children age 4 and under are free; includes free admission to the Museum the day of the show.

Bring a copy of this email for a $2 discount at the door. Limit of one per family.

Arriving on October 12th and 13th, the Circus by Rails Exhibit

TCMRM is teaming up with circus modelers from around the region to host the Circus to Rails Show at Bandana Square on October 12 and 13, 2013.

The circus modelers bringing their displays to the show will be set up in the hallways.

If you haven’t been to the Museum in awhile because there’s nothing new, this would be good time to bring your family and friends.

Time to start thinking about Night Trains

Our annual Night Trains Season begins November 30th and continues every Saturday night until February 22th.

Join us Saturday nights during the Holiday season; make it a Holiday family tradition.

There will two Night Trains Extras this season, a special Night Trains Premiere on Black Friday, November 29th and on New Year’s Eve, December 31st.

Admission & Location

Museum admission is $8.00 weekends and $6.00 week days. Admission for children under 5 is FREE.

This includes admission to the Toy Train Division next door in the Chimneys Building on Saturdays and Sundays.
