The Twin City Model Railroad Museum will feature a special “The Circus Moves by Rails" exhibit on October 24 and 25,
2015. This will be the final "Circus Moves by Rails" event in Bandana Square!
On display will be a fantastic array of
circus models by Zellmar Bros Ring 80 of Circus Model Builders Inc.
Circus Model Builders Inc is an international group dedicated to preserving circus thru models
of various shows both present and past in miniature. Zellmar Bros Ring 80 is a group of members from Minnesota that show together as often as possible in the area.
Many of
the members have shown their models around the country and for hundreds of thousands of people! “The Circus Moves by Rails” Exhibit will feature modelers from Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska and Wisconsin.
Come see hundreds of elephant, horses, lions, tigers and bears all in miniature displayed in HO, O, G and Half inch scales for your pleasure. See many of the famous circus acts from the past all in different scales.
See a colorful cavalcade of clowns cavorting, performers decked out in costumes and of course the colossal parade wagons rolling down the streets of Small Town USA. All this and more in miniature! This event promises to be a kaleidoscope of color and wonder for ages from 1 to 101.
Admissions to this special exhibit are included in the Museum’s normal admission price of $8 per person, children 4 and under are admitted free of charge. Exhibit hours are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Saturday, October 24 and Sunday,
October 25, Noon to 5:00 pm.
