On Saturday, May 9, 2015, join the Twin City Model Railroad Museum (TCMRM) in celebrating National Train Day. The National Train Day festivities at the Museum will include Amtrak and other passenger trains featured on the layouts plus historic buses giving free round trip rides between the Twin City Model Railroad Museum, the Jackson Street Roundhouse, the Union Depot and the James J. Hill House! (Watch Facebook for the bus schedule).

Plus enter our children’s coloring contest and all-ages photography competition! Prizes include gift certificates to Choo Choo Bob’s Train Store, TCMRM museum tickets, toys and more!

The museum will be open Saturday, May 9th from 10am to 5pm.
Museum admission is $8.00, children 4 and under are admitted free.

2015 Spring Hobby Show - Saturday, May 9th
The Museum hosts a semi-annual Model Railroad Show and Hobby Sale at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds - Education Building in Saint Paul in May and September of each year.

Attractions: Operating train layouts in several scales! Over 200 tables of new and used scale models; Toy Trains HO, O, 027, N, S, & Z scale plus Antiques, Collectibles, Tools, Books, Videos, Toys, Buildings, Magazines, Prints, Posters, Photos and more!

Admission is $6.00 for ages 8 and up! Ages 7 and under are FREE!

The show hours are 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The Circus Moves by Rails – Coming in October!

The Circus Moves by Rails show is coming to the Twin City Model Railroad Museum October 24th and 25th. On display will be fantastic array of circus models by Zellmar Bros Ring 80 of Circus Model Builders Inc.
