Train Days Weekend has Arrived!

Dear Friends of the TCMRM,

In case you haven't heard....its Train Days Weekend at the Union Depot and the Minnesota Transportation Museum (Jackson Street Roundhouse)!

The Twin City Model Railroad Museum will have displays at both locations and we hope you are able to stop by and say hi!

Keep in mind that I-94 is closed between 280 and Snelling Avenue this weekend but Metro Transit is offering free rides to Union Depot both days and the Minnesota Transportation Museum is again offering free rides on vintage buses during Train Days between their roundhouse on Empire Drive and Union Depot.

The Twin City Model Railroad Museum is Reopening May 14th!

We are very excited to announce that we are reopening for our summer construction "Preview Season" on Saturday, May 14th! We will be open Saturday's and Sunday's through fall when we plan to hold a full grand reopening.

Details:

During this summer preview season you will get to see and interact with many toy train layouts and other railroad displays, including touring layouts. You'll also get to watch the reconstruction of our famous two rail layout which we had to cut into over a dozen sections to move from our old location.

Location:

668 Transfer Road, Suite 8, St. Paul, MN 55114

Located north of University Avenue near the old Amtrak Depot.

Hours:

Saturday's: 10-5

Sunday's: 12-5

Admission: $5 for ages 5 and above during this special preview season! (Normally $8)

Children 4 and under are always free!
