Museum Move Update!

After our final day of operations at Bandana Square on February 28th museum volunteers have been busy packing up the Bandana and Toy Train Division layouts. Trains and scenery have been packed up and as you can see from the photo above, we have removed the first sections of the layout and will start reassembling them in the new space soon!

The Museum recently was awarded a planning grant to help shape the long term vision for our new facility. We still aim for a re-opening in early April with a spring preview season. A full grand reopening will occur later this summer.

Photo above from March 1st while all buildings and trains were being removed. Photo below is from March 5th as we started moving the first toy train layouts into the new space.
