Night Trains
Night Trains is Here!
Night Trains season is a special holiday tradition at the Twin City Model Railroad Museum and is running every Saturday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 pm through the last Saturday in February (February 25, 2017).

Night Trains season comes to the dozens of model railroad layouts in a magical way, the lights are turned down, the buildings and street lights glow warmly, setting the scene for specially lighted models of vintage passenger trains. The make believe town of Matlin is buried in a blizzard, and throughout the Museum the layouts are adorned with miniature Christmas lights and decorations.

Don't forget: This year Santa is making an appearance on Saturday, December 17th. He will have a sack of goodies for good girls and boys. Bring your camera and tell Santa about the train you want for Christmas. There’s no additional admission to see Santa!

Night Trains takes place at the museum’s new location at 668 Transfer Road, Suite 8 in Saint Paul, Minnesota.  Directions to the Twin City Model Railroad Museum can be found here: http://www.tcmrm.org/location-hours/exhibits-events/night-trains/ 

Admission to this special show is $15.00 per person and FREE for children age four and under. Discounted group rates are available for groups of three or more (max 10).

Please Note:
The museum will be CLOSED on Christmas Eve (regular hours and Night Trains), Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

If you make it out to the Union Depot for the European Christmas Market, the Polar Express or the CP Holiday Train be sure to stop by the museum's booth!

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is coming!

Each year the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train travels its territory bringing lots of cheer and food shelf donations to towns along the line. Be sure to check it out!


The CP Rail Holiday Train is making quite a few local appearances this week. 

Thursday: Winona, Wabasha, Hastings
Friday: Cottage Grove, St. Paul
Saturday: New Hope, Golden Valley, St. Louis Park, NE Minneapolis
Sunday: Loretto, Buffalo, Annandale, Eden Valley
