Summer Break Is Here!
Summer break is well underway! The museum is your destination this summer. Our 10,000 square feet of museum space is the perfect cure for the "I'm Bored" flu. Beat the heat on the muggy days with a trip to the museum.

We are open Saturday 10-5, Sunday Noon-5 plus Monday and Tuesday from 10-3.

Mark Your Calendar for the Fall Hobby Show!
The Museum's next semi-annual Model Railroad Show and Hobby Sale at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds - Education Building in Saint Paul is scheduled for September 16, 2017! 

Our spring show was a great success with more vendors then ever! We hope to have a great fall show as well! 

Attractions: Operating train layouts in several scales! Over 200 tables of new and used scale models; Toy Trains HO, O, 027, N, S, & Z scale plus Antiques, Collectibles, Tools, Books, Videos, Toys, Buildings, Magazines, Prints, Posters, Photos and more!


​​​​​​​Admission to the hobby show is $6.00 for ages 8 and up! Ages 7 and under are FREE!

The show hours are 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Do you already visit the museum a lot? Or looking for a more economical way to make more trips? Consider becoming a Visiting Member! We have two levels of membership for Individuals or Families! 


All memberships include unlimited regular visits to the museum, discounts in our gift shop and local hobby shops and more.


Our second tier "Engineer Level" memberships also include FREE admission to Night Trains and our twice-yearly hobby sales!
