Only 5 More Night Trains Events Left!

Night Trains season is almost over but it's not too late to see this very special event! The final nights are February 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th (Every Saturday night in February) from 6 to 9 pm!

Do not miss your chance to see the museum decorated for winter, including our Lego winter carnival ice palace.

Upcoming Night Trains Appearances:

Live Music with Bill Cagley and Paul Jones – Saturday, February 15th & 29th

Bill Cagley (guitar) has been a fixture in the Twin Cities bluegrass and folk music scene since moving here from Iowa in the early 90's. He knows a song for every occasion and can flat pick more fiddle tunes then you can count. Paul Jones (mandolin) has played bluegrass, rock and jazz around the Twin Cities since 1991. He and Bill have been picking together for the last few years and are excited to bring their music to you!

Circus Event Coming Soon!

The Spring 2020 Circus Days at the Twin City Model Railroad Museum are coming up on March 7th and 8th!

Come see our miniature towns as they host the circus! Circus themed trains run the rails while lions, tigers and bears (Oh, my!) strut their stuff in the 3 ring circus tent! This event brings back to life the age of the circus train when the real life circus would haul their animals, tents and entertainers from town to town via their own special trains.

Admission to this special event is included in the Museum’s regular admission price of $10 per person, Children 4 and under are admitted free of charge. Family and group rates are available!

Museum open Presidents' Day!

The museum is open every Monday from 10-3 and that includes Presidents' Day! Get out of the house and see our fun Lego recreation of Mount Rushmore! It's been a long winter and we are here to make your day with the kids a blast!

Spring Hobby Show and Sale - Saturday, May 16th

The Museum hosts a semi-annual Model Railroad Show and Hobby Sale at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds – Education Building in Saint Paul in May and September of each year.

Operating layouts in several scales! Over 200 tables of new and used scale models; Toy Trains HO, O, 027, N, S, & Z scale plus Antiques, Collectibles, Tools, Books, Videos, Toys, Buildings, Magazines, Prints, Posters, Photos and more!

Show admission is $6.00 for ages 8 and up!

Ages 7 and under are FREE!

The show hours are 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
