SpringForwardMN Has Arrived!

Dear Friends of the Museum:

Today is day one of a 10 day fundraising effort across Minnesota called SpringForwardMN, organized by the same people that support Give to the Max Day each November. Please help us reach our goal of $15,000. Every donation made also makes us eligible for "Golden Tickets" - your donation could be worth an extra $250 or even $1,000 thanks to the many great sponsors of this event.

The COVID pandemic continues to drain our resources and our limited hours and capacities have been tough during what would have been our busiest season. We would like to count on your support online using the "Donate Now" link below.

Museum Now Open Sat. & Sun.

We are happy to announce we are now open Saturday's from 10-5 and Sunday's noon-5!

We are thankful to our volunteers that are ready to come back to the museum to greet you!

The following guidelines for visitors remain in place:

Advanced Tickets Requirement
To ensure limited capacity and space for social distancing, the museum has moved to online ticketing system. We strongly recommend all visitors, including kids and members, claim tickets in advance. You can get your tickets at tcmrm.eventbrite.com. After entering, visitors can stay as long as you wish, and there is no longer a need to arrive at a specific time. However, museum visitation is limited to 50% capacity at all times.

Health and safety requirements
Visitors over the age of 2 are required to wear masks, keep a distance of 6 feet from others outside their household and wash or sanitize hands frequently. Since some museum exhibits do require a hands-on aspect there will be frequent sanitization of all buttons. Families should know that for the short term all wooden train layouts in children’s play area have been removed.

Guests will be encouraged to follow a consistent route through the museum to help with social distancing. Signage with these reminders will be posted around the museum.
