1970's Railroading in the
Twin Cities Event
On Sunday, June 20th, 2021 at 2pm the museum is hosting a slide show of railroading in the Twin Cities area in the 1970s as a fundraiser. Cost to attend this fundraiser is $10, and includes full access to the Museum that day. The presentation is about 1 hour in length. The slide show will be in

You will be trackside at all the main train watching locations in the 1970s including all three Twin Cities railway stations, Soo Line Shoreham yard, CNW Cedar Lake yard, the Stone Arch Bridge, GN Dale Street Shops, NP Como Shops, Northtown, Rock Island Inver Hills yard, Milwaukee hump yard, CB&Q St. Paul yard, and the NP Mississippi Street Shops.
All railfans and members of the public are invited to attend this special event. If we overflow seating in the room, we will let you see the layouts and attend a second 3pm showing if needed.
Museum Garage Sale June 26th & 27th
We have a ton of toy trains and related items that we need to clear out and you can score a deal on that next item to complete your railroad empire!
The sale will happen in the main conference room at the entrance to our museum during the following hours:
Saturday, June 26th 10-5
Sunday, June 27th 12-4
Museum admission is not required if you are only attending the sale.
"Spring" Hobby Show & Sale -

As a reminder our spring hobby sale has moved to July at the Minnesota State Fairground - Education Building!
What will you see?
Operating layouts in several scales! Over 200 tables of new and used scale models; Toy Trains HO, O, 027, N, S, & Z scale plus Antiques, Collectibles, Tools, Books, Videos, Toys, Buildings, Magazines, Prints, Posters, Photos and more!
Also, Choo Choo Bob will be doing a story time for kids!
