Just 4 More Night Trains Events Left This Season!

Night Trains season is almost over but it's not too late to see this very special event! The final nights are April 3rd, 10th, 8th, 17th, and 24th from 3 to 7 pm! You must purchase your tickets in advance at our Eventbrite Page.

Spring Hobby Show and Sale - Saturday, July 24th

I know, I know, July isn't spring! The Fairgrounds asked us to move our spring show due to an event conflict. Our confirmed show date is July 24th.The Museum typically hosts a semi-annual Model Railroad Show and Hobby Sale at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds – Education Building in Saint Paul in May and September of each year. Unfortunately, we had to cancel both shows in 2020 so we are glad to be back, plus a move to July allows for more vaccinations and less risks. The fall show will continue as scheduled for Saturday, September 18th.

What will be there? Operating layouts in several scales! Over 200 tables of new and used scale models; Toy Trains HO, O, 027, N, S, & Z scale plus Antiques, Collectibles, Tools, Books, Videos, Toys, Buildings, Magazines, Prints, Posters, Photos and more!

Show admission is $6.00 for ages 8 and up! Free parking on Fairgrounds property.

Ages 7 and under are FREE!

The show hours are 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

Circus Event Coming Soon!

The Spring 2021 Circus Days at the Twin City Model Railroad Museum are coming up in May!

Come see our miniature towns as they host the circus! Circus themed trains run the rails while lions, tigers and bears (Oh, my!) strut their stuff in the 3 ring circus tent! This event brings back to life the age of the circus train when the real life circus would haul their animals, tents and entertainers from town to town via their own special trains.

Admission to this special event is included in the Museum’s regular admission price of $10 per person, Children 4 and under are admitted free of charge. Family and group rates are available!
