Fall Hobby Sale This Saturday - September 18th!

This coming Saturday is our semi-annual Model Railroad Show and Hobby Sale at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds - Education Building in Saint Paul.

Attractions: Operating train layouts in several scales! Over 200 tables of new and used model trains in every scale, plus antiques, collectibles, tools, books, videos, toys, buildings, magazines, artwork and more!

Four our young visitors: Engineer Paul will be doing story-time with kids at 10 am and 12:30.

Admission: $6.00 for ages 8 and up! Ages 7 and under are FREE!

Hours: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. (note new closing time)

Location: MN State Fairgrounds - Education Building. Enter from Snelling Avenue to Dan Patch Avenue and make your first right! Free parking all around the grounds but please follow parking signs.

Total cost: $250

While we don’t have ratio requirements, the museum is self-guided and the party does not include additional adult oversight. We highly encourage a 1:3 adult to child ratio for children under the age of 5.

O Scale Trains Magazine

The Museum is in O Scale Trains Magazine with our Sunset O scale Northern Pacific F7A and passenger train on the cover. We last appeared in this magazine in March of 2016. In this issue we also appear on page 48 in the North American club o scale directory, as we do in each issue. Other features include a nice home 28x24 GN steam layout, an article on making flat car loads, and tips on laying track.
